Past Projects

One of the most rewarding parts of the job is repairing and upgrading the homes we buy. Not every house we buy needs this much work, but who doesn’t enjoy a good before & after? Check out some of our recent renovations below. These were all completed in 2021!

4326 Spring Oak Dr

Before we bought this house, it was owned by an out of town landlord with nightmare tenants. Drugs were dealt from the house, they had junk vehicles all over the front yard, and it was generally in very rough condition. Over 2 months our team replaced the roof, replaced windows, installed central heating & air conditioning, and did a full cosmetic makeover inside and out. The end result was high quality, affordable housing. We even built a custom deck out back per our buyer’s request!

8723 Bravo Valley Dr

This house was actually in decent shape when we bought it, however the owner had a mortgage rate lock to buy a new property that expired at the end of the month, and needed the money from this sale for his down payment. He had been strung along by WeBuyUglyHouses (one of our competitors) for 2 months and they still hadn’t closed and paid him. Within 1 week of talking to me we had the sale closed for the same price and he was able to buy his new property in Canyon Lake where he plans to build his dream home with his wife. On this house we ended up replacing the roof, doing new stained wood shutters and garage enclosure, and numerous interior upgrades such as a brand new kitchen.

136 W Lambert St

We bought this house from a family that had owned it from the time it was built through 3 generations, and it was by far our most challenging renovation to date. The foundation was sitting on the ground, completely rotten and termite damaged, we replaced everything, raised the house 18 inches to modern code, and reframed almost the entire structure. All new central air system, all new plumbing, complete electrical rewire, brand new metal roof, new siding, new custom decks, new driveway, new fence, the list goes on. The pictures speak for themselves but we are very proud of what we accomplished on this property.

7162 Stone Fence Rd

This home was purchased from a long time owner of 20 years+ who had unfortunately run into a dishonest contractor that started many improvements to the house but didn’t finish. At the time we got in touch, she was running short of funds and honestly wanted to be done with the property. There were so many tedious unfinished odds and ends that this renovation ended up taking about a month longer than expected. At the end of the day, this home went to a local veteran who was able to purchase it with zero money down from us using a VA loan.
